Cheating and Plagiarism:
- All assignments are expected to be handed in on time
- If an assignment is handed in late, deductions will be taken
- If an assignment is handed in after it has been taken up/handed back you will receive a mark of zero
Missed Tests & Presentations:
- It is the students responsibility to make arrangements, AHEAD OF TIME, for any tests/quizzes/presentations that are missed
- You may not miss a test or presentation for extra-curricular activities, you will receive a mark of zero
- If a students misses a test/quiz for unforeseen reasons such as an illness, the student must bring in a note signed by a parent or guardian and be prepared to write the test/quiz upon return to school at a time determined by the teacher
Emailing Assignments & Inquiries:
- If you are given permission to hand in an assignment via email to avoid late deductions you are still responsible for handing in a hard copy the following class (email to the following address: [email protected])
- You may also use the above email for any inquiries or questions you may have
- When you email an assignment make sure to use proper email etiquette
Cheating and Plagiarism:
- Teachers will teach ways to prevent plagiarism
- Cheating and plagiarism are serious academic offenses and will result in a mark of zero on the given assessment
- Parents and the Administration will also be notified if you are caught cheating or plagiarizing
- One tool the faculty uses is www.turnitin.com. All students should expect to use this online tool for checking/submitting work to teachers
